Commencing in September and finishing in March, Ryde Hawks Baseball League offers competitions for all levels of playing ability. Baseball is for everyone and boys and girls play in mixed competitions.
T-Ball
U7 – non competitive games designed to develop the basic skills necessary for all young players to play baseball or any sport. The games are 60 minutes in duration and every child bats twice or 3 times a game and fields in different positions. The emphasis is on fun, playing with your friends or finding new friends. In addition, you don’t have to travel far as all games are geographically based. All Coaches are accredited by Ryde Hawks Coaching staff.
Little League T-Ball

Little League Live Ball
U10 ~ U12 – competitive and graded for players who are ready to play live baseball. The emphasis is on matching playing skills of teams and teams are graded based on their development. The focus is still on having fun while developing young players skills to maximise their playing enjoyment in a competitive environment.

To make things easier for you to enjoy your child’s season ahead, the Quick Links table below provides links to most documents that you will need. Have a look through all of the links, but here are a few highlights:
- For Draw information, there is NO other reliable source of information other than the draws published by Ryde Hawks. Always, always, always rely on the “Draws” link. Simply go to Team Schedules and click on your team. If there is a “vs” listed before the team you are playing in a particular week, you are the AWAY side. If not, you are the HOME side.
- If you are interested in knowing what other junior (and senior) games are being played at Greenway Park this weekend, click on the “Location Schedules” link and check the Greenway Diamonds.
- If you need to get in touch with your Coach or Manager, or any other Greenway Giants Coach or Manager, click on the “Teams” link and choose your Team Page.
- For kids who are interested in taking their baseball to the next level, click on “Rep Information” for details of the opportunities available.
- Finally, and perhaps most importantly, to make the club run each team is occasionally rostered for ground set-up and Canteen duty throughout the season. If your team plays at home (Greenway), your manager will organise a roster.
That’s about it – hope the kids have a cracking season!
